Bill Maher drops the N-Word on Larry King Show

Comedian Bill Maher decided to use the "N-Word" during his appearance on the Larry King Show. Maher is often known for his offensive and brash humor, but took it to another level by using a racial slur in his interview talk. This comes soon after Maher received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with his girlfriend Cara Saint Maria and dog "Killer" joining him.
During the interview, Bill Maher and Larry King discussed the various potential candidates for president in 2012. Maher brought up remarks made about President Obama's opposition. One bit of remarks came from Newt Gingrich, who Maher said called Obama an "anti-colonial loud tribesmen" which Maher says is "the new Kenya." He said its "Codeword for N-a." Maher said they're unable to say the word, that they can't fathom there's a black president and that's what their focus is on.
Maher goes on to talk about Sarah Palin being a religious nut and not reading books about religion but instead consulting emails from "Prayer Warriors." Still it was his comment to Larry King that has caused a stir, when Maher dropped the N-word. King being the good listener he is, allowed Maher to continue speaking after making the reference, but it's caused a lot of shock.
Bill Maher clearly took his commentary a bit too far by using a racial slur rather than just saying the "N-word," which would have illustrated the point he was trying to make. The video is now making the rounds on YouTube of the two minute piece from Maher's interview including his use of the slur. Many will recall the uproar that former "Seinfeld" actor, Michael Richards, caused when using the same racial slur during his stand-up comedy act. Richards eventually went on the air to apologize for the incident.
